Bisexual celeb AIDS fears sweep Hong Kong
A leading Hong Kong actor, who is thought to have had sex with at least 100 women in the past two years is rumored to to have contracted AIDS, according to Three Weekly (3週刊).
The bisexual actor, referred to as “Y” loves partying at nightclubs and has had affairs with numerous actors and actresses.
Aside from acting in TV soap operas and films, the actor has also released albums.
The weekly said the actor had immediately followed the doctor’s suggestion to receive a cocktail therapy but, to protect his reputation, has kept the result to himself.
Still, the news finally broke out in Hong Kong showbiz circle, triggering widespread panic.
Those who have had intimacy with him are secretly visiting doctors, hoping they do not share the virus.
Other celebrities have reportedly refused to work with the actor.
The weekly interviewed singer-actor Wong Hei (王喜), pictured right, and Grasshopper (草蜢) boy band member Remus Choy (蔡一杰), pictured middle, who are both rumored to have gay lovers.
The two said they would not comment further on the rumors.
