Discuss this trailerI just saw it yesterday, and I can say that Gwyneth Paltrow will be a contender for an Oscar nod this year, she is the best part of the film, she reminded to us why she won a very deserved oscar, she have an unforgettable scene that stay in your mind for days. GOOD FILM Kinda risky to put such a cast into yet another virus movie, I guess its up to them to draw the crowd. Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, and Gyneth Paltrow in a movie together??? Sign me up! rip off of the Outbreak(1995) film... bt has new techno and strong cast with it being its power points... so i think will watch it one time if there is nothing good out there... :-) YES another virus movieee!! i love them, 28 weeks later 28 days, all George romeo's series, night of the living deads, invasion, the mist, WOOHOO!!! looks kinda cool! Scary, but interesting. If it was rated R, I wouldn't bother, but this looks great as a PG-13 movie! Plus, some of the best actors are in it! Yay! This looks SO good! I can't wait to see it at midnight on a Thursday. I love infection movies and I think it's somewhat different then the other movies out there that deal with viruses and infections. I hope the ending doesn't suck. what was that movie with Dustin Hoffman, that cute oscar award winning black guy movie called??? It is like that right? LOL!!!!!! No original movies anymore!!!!! this pisses me off, I spent half the year writing a book similar to this, its not finished yet. *beep* illuminati I bet :|. sighhhhh. oh well I'll continue to write my book better, and it is NOT based on this stupid movie, I started writing it before I saw this crap. I hope it fails. This looks interesting but could easily be a flop. Most infection movies, now, almost always includes zombies or monsters. The realistic take on worldwide infection is appealing. The cast makes me nervous, though. Can Matt Damon do more than the action roles he seems to play in EVERY movie he has made in the last decade? I'll buy a ticket, and hope it doesn't disappoint. ReplyReport abuse A decade ago there was a screenplay circulating called "the cleansing" which dealt with an H1N1 pandemic intentionally created by a handful of otherwise altruistic scientists in an effort to cull the human numbers back down to a sustainable carrying capacity. The science was exceptional and the plot smart in that the protagonist, a CDC virologist tasked with saving the world, had a bit of a dilemma once he realized that the "evil" scientists were right; that the only way to save humanity was to… read more so great cast, but the plot looks kinda 'eh'.
